All Teeth Replacement

All Teeth Replacement, also known as All-on-Four, is an exceptional, innoventive procedure that provides the ideal solution for patients who are missing all or most of their teeth. This procedure requires less surgery, and a shorter recovery time at a reasonable cost.

What is the All-on-Four Procedure?

The All-on-Four procedure is part of what sets the Cosmetic Dental Centre apart from other dental practices. This revolutionary concept was developed by Nobel Biocare (one of the world's two foremost dental equipment manufacturers), and implant specialist Paulo Malo using bio-mechanics, computer simulation, and clinical research to provide patients missing all or most of their teeth with a permanent, full set of replacement teeth without excessive surgeries or bone grafting procedures.

The procedure requires only four dental implants to be placed in strategic locations within the jaw bone. These implants act as anchors, and hold an upper and lower arch of replacement teeth in place solidly within the mouth.

Because the Cosmetic Dental Centre uses 3-dimensional CT surgical planning software to map out the entire process beforehand, we can insert the implants, and the prosthesis in less than an hour.

In addition, recovery time, and swelling is minimal.

Why is the All-on-Four Procedure so Revolutionary?

Traditional approaches used by other dental practices to restoring a full arch of teeth usually involve bone grafts, six or more implants, and as many as 18 months of treatment. This means that a patient is often without any teeth, or with ill-fitting temporary dentures for more than a year.

The Cosmetic Dental Centre is different.  Your treatment is performed in a single day, and, when completed, you leave our practice with brand new teeth!

With the All-on-4 Procedure, patients receive just four implants, and a full set of new replacement teeth in just one appointment. And, very importantly, all this is achieved without bone grafts. No matter how many teeth you are missing when you enter the practice, by the time that you go home that day, you will have fixed, non-removable replacement teeth.

What to Expect from the All-on-Four Procedure

The first stage of the All-on-Four procedure requires a consultation with Dr. Sam Sherif at the Cosmetic Dental Centre. During this consultation, he will take x-rays, CAT scans, impressions, and photos in order to create a treatment plan that best fits your needs. He will then use our CT surgical planning software to pinpoint the locations for the dental implants. Your full prosthesis will be created before the surgery.

The second stage of the procedure is the surgery. During your appointment, anesthesia will be used to numb the areas where the implants will be placed. Once the implants are placed within the jawbone, a temporary full prosthesis will be attached to the implants.

The third stage is the healing process. You will come back to the Cosmetic Dental Centre for regular checkups, and maintenance. During these visits, Dr. Sherif  will check for healthy healing conditions, and proper fit. After about six months, he will take new impressions, and craft your permanent set of replacement teeth. This prosthesis will then be attached to the dental implants.
